How to attack in the midfield area with SSMO

- In midfield you need the entire spectrum of the SSMO concept because here you don't want to lose the ball easily but at the same time you want to bring your attack forward and find ways to put pressure on the opponent
- So use clever passes and good dribbling protocols (discussed in the first lesson of this course) to keep the ball safe
- Then focus on gaining space quickly when you have the chance
- As often as you can you should create movement by using one two passes or sending players on runs with L1/LB
- Finally you can always look for outplays. They don't need to be fancy, sometimes just running through on the sideline is enough. Always keep in mind too not take too much risk!
