Attacking through the wings in FC 24 is probably more important than it was in any previous title so far. However it still requires skill because if you end up trying to do the same exact thing every single time, good opponents will have an easy time defending you. - One of the most consistent and dangerous ways to convert wing attacks is by going all the way to the byline, taking advantage of opponents anticipating that you are going to cut inside early.
- Building on that, it's good to balance out you going all the way down the wing by cutting inside as early as possible every now and then. Take the ball inside with a ball roll and then try to play a quick passing combination.
- If you see space inside the box and a striker running into that space, don't hesitate to cross the ball in. This works really well in FC 24.
- Last but not least, you can also use space in between and behind defenders by using the precision lob pass and lobbing the ball into the gap behind a defender that gets pulled out of position to cover the wing.
- When you do break through and look for the cutback pass, don't be lazy: Be sure to delay the pass if you don't see an open player right away and change the passing angle with a skillmove or a simple dribbling turn.
