Key takeaways for this lesson:

Method 1: Driven Passes

  • Playstyle: First Touch & Pinged Pass
  • Get the ball towards the center with your midfielder who might have the pinged pass playstyle, target the receiver with the first touch playstyle and go for a driven pass by holding onto the R1/RB button. The receiver will easily control the ball and will be able to turn around to get past the defender.

Method 2: Crossing

  • Playstyle: Whipped Pass
  • With the whipped pass crosses will get an extra curve. If you have a winger/winger back who has this playstyle and you see a teammate on the other side who is entering the box, don't hesitate, power up the cross and prepare an easy finish for them.

Method 3: Goalline --> Cutbacks

  • Playstyle: Technical & Rapid
  • Going towards the goalline can easily break the opponent's defensive shape and is one of the most used methods this year. Dribble towards the goalline and then look inside. If you have a player wide open you can pass the ball in or if he is being defended you can finish the position with the initial dribbler.

Method 4: Distance Shots

  • Playstyle: Finesse Shot & Trivela
  • Fear no distance! Distance shots have been quite strong since the launch. You need to work for the proper angles. An angle between 30-60 degrees towards the goal would help you prepare the perfect distance shot. With the help of the playstyles you can score magnificent finesse & outside foot shots!
