Birthday Gattuso Review

With the Birthday Event, Gattuso received a brand new card with 5* skill moves we want to give you a clear if you should do him at all. Since we had a lot of opportunities to collect fodder cards, it is very likely that most of you can get this SBC card for free. I wanted to give him and I can say I am impressed!

Pace & Dribbling

I am using Gattuso with the Anchor chemistry type, which makes him lengthy. This has a huge impact on his pace and acceleration if you are playing the game on New Gen. With the 5* skill move upgrade he feels very agile, even tho the stats are not THAT hight in terms of agility and balance, however I like the flexibility he offers.

Passing

Gattuso has very good passing abilities. I even try to maximize my expectations and try harder passes but yet he fails very less. He can perform accurate outside foot passes, first time driven passes etc. His 3* weak foot also feels like a 4*, so no worries on that part.

Defending

The most impressive side of his defense is his positioning. He finds himself almost in a very good position every time. His aggressiveness and physicality helps him dominate the challenges and this could also help on the opposite side as well!

Conclusion

Gattuso is a very good CDM in terms of defending and distributing the ball forward. I like his aggressiveness in the back and his ability to bring the ball forward both by passing or dribbling. You won't be able to play him as an attacker or a goal scorer midfielder, but he could be definitely played as CM/CDM!

My personal recommendation: Not mandatory to complete, but if you can finish him for free, then why not? Give him a chance!
