Decisive Actions Are Required To Create Chances
In order to create a chance, it's time to develop a plan and follow through with it! This lesson deals with the topic that it requires decisive actions and that you have to be willing to take a risk inside the opponent's box.

- When you get close to the opponen'ts goal, it's time to develop a concrete plan how you can create a goal scoring chance and then follow through with this plan.
- The plan can be to outplay the last defender with a skill move or play a pass to a teammate that then can finish. But you have to get an idea how you can get in a position to score.
- A lot of players tend to not target their attempts towards the goal, but still go to the side or not towards the goal. If you do, you're missing the decisiveness in your actions.
- The problem in that is that you give your opponent time to reorganize and stabilize the defense.

- Actions in the opponent's box might not have the highest success rate, but it's a smart risk to take, because a successful action has a high chance of ending in a goal.
- To check whether you're decisive enough in those moments, we recommend to capture games of you and watch your games. As soon as you get nearby the opponent's goal, check if it would have been possible to push for a chance with a more concrete or decisive actions.
