This video and the anticipation lesson both are very crucial for new players in my opinion and offers tremendous value to  speed up the progress . Would it be possible to have a lesson about defending near the box and inside the box as well . I find it tough to read and block passing options in those areas.

Besides that my tip is to first, focus on the player that you have currently selected and then do a conscious switch. Personally, I screw up more right stick player switches when I just do it automatically, not really thinking about it.
