- Start using the X/A button when being shoulder to shoulder to your opponent. The shoulder challenges are the easiest way to get started with Advanced Defending.
- Understand how you can also apply pressure with X/A when the opponent is more static in the midfield and trying to build up the play.
- Start using X/A also in the box as this can be a great way to dispossess the opponent here as well without committing a foul.
- While you start using X/A more and more, don't forget to see the spots where a regular standing tackle with circle/B is the better option.
