Quick run down for this free kick technique:

  1. Get a 2nd free kick taker by pressing R1/RB
  2. Fake the free kick (press the shooting/crossing button and then cancel with the passing button) with the player that will run outside along the wall
  3. When the player ran over the ball, press the passing button to play a pass to him
  4. Receive the ball inside the box and try to setup a shot

Key takeaways for this lesson:

  • This variant works the best in central positions or a bit to the side. The distance can be really close to the goal, but also further away.
  • The closer you are, the faster you have to be with pressing the passing button, because otherwise your free kick faker will be in an offside position.
  • Try to get a player with good finishing attributes to fake the free kick, since he should get in a shooting position inside the box.
