The mechanics of interceptions
When trying to intercept passes, you need to good movement mechanics as well as control AI defenders with second man and partial team press. This lesson covers every detail behind successful interceptions!

- Sprint: when we're far away from where we want to be positioned

- Don't push up too close to the ball carrier or you'll leave space in behind, but also don't just sit back on the opponent's STs as the opponent can just carry the ball up with no pressure

- Use partial team press as a last resort or when the opponent is attacking the byline for the AI to man-mark 2 potential passing options while you can manually apply pressure on the ball
